Domus
Terms of Use
Domus (“the app”) is an iPhone app made by Several, an independent app studio, for running a home and its household staff. By using it, you agree to these simple terms.
Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple or an email and password. Keep your login to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your country to use Domus.
Homes and members
A home in Domus is shared with the members you invite, each with a role. If you invite someone, you’re choosing to share that home’s records with them; if you own a home, you’re responsible for who has access to it. Treat the people and information in a home with respect.
Your responsibility for your records
Domus is a tool for organising your household — it is not payroll, legal, tax, or accounting advice. The pay, leave, and other figures it displays are the ones drawn from the records you and your members enter; Domus formats and presents them, but does not verify them or ensure they meet the labour or employment laws that apply to you. Making sure your arrangements are correct, fair, and lawful is your responsibility. Only enter other people’s information with their knowledge.
Fair use
Please use Domus for running your own home(s). Don’t resell or redistribute the app, don’t use it to break the law or to mishandle other people’s data, and don’t attempt to break, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.
Availability
We work to keep Domus running and your data safe, but the app relies on internet connectivity and our servers, and may occasionally be unavailable or change as we improve it. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Provided “as is”
Domus is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Several is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss arising from the accuracy of records you enter or the availability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
